Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Safety Director to lead our construction safety initiatives and ensure a secure, compliant, and health-conscious work environment across all project sites. In this pivotal role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will foster a culture of safety excellence, proactively manage risks, and ensure that all construction activities adhere to OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, and other relevant safety standards. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies and procedures tailored to construction site operations in compliance with

OSHA, ANSI

standards, NFPA codes, NEC regulations, and occupational health guidelines. Lead safety training initiatives by designing engaging programs on construction workplace safety regulations, electrical safety procedures, hazard recognition, first aid & CPR, and other critical topics. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards related to risk management, electrical systems, occupational health issues, and overall construction safety management. Oversee incident investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence; maintain detailed documentation of all reports. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to integrate safety into daily workflows while ensuring compliance management across multiple sites. Manage workers' compensation claims processes and coordinate with insurance providers; monitor occupational health trends to mitigate workplace illnesses or injuries. Stay current with evolving construction regulations and standards; ensure all teams are trained on OSHA requirements, ANSI standards, NFPA codes, and OSHA's best practices for construction site safety. Lead the development of emergency response plans including first aid procedures; coordinate with local emergency responders as needed. Utilize construction management software and other digital tools to track safety metrics, conduct risk assessments, and report on compliance status effectively. Experience Proven experience in construction site safety management or related roles within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, ANSI standards for construction safety, NFPA standards for fire protection, NEC electrical codes, and occupational health best practices. Demonstrated ability to lead safety training programs and foster a culture of proactive risk management among diverse teams. Experience managing workers' compensation claims and understanding of occupational health issues affecting construction workers. Familiarity with construction management software platforms for compliance tracking and reporting purposes. Exceptional team leadership skills with the ability to influence positive safety behaviors across multiple project sites. Prior experience implementing electrical safety procedures and ensuring adherence to construction workplace safety regulations is highly desirable. $55,000.00 - $72,396.34 per year
