This role serves as a strategic partner to Operations — balancing regulatory requirements with production realities to reduce risk, protect KDM's people and environment, and advance a strong, visible safety culture across all shifts and departments. The ideal candidate is self-directed, highly credible on the plant floor, and skilled at turning findings into corrective action.

Compliance & Regulatory Management Inspections, Audits & Risk Assessment Training & Safety Culture Incident Management & Reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Demonstrated knowledge of

OSHA 29 CFR 1910

General Industry standards. Experience managing safety committees, conducting regulatory training, and maintaining

OSHA 300

recordkeeping. Hands-on experience with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action management. Preferred Master's degree in a related field.

Professional certification:

CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager), CHST, or equivalent. Familiarity with

ISO 14001

(Environmental Management) and

ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001

(Occupational Health & Safety) standards. Experience in print, POP display, chemical-handling, or similarly regulated manufacturing environments. Experience with environmental permitting and hazardous waste management programs.
