Metro Tech Electric Inc. is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable On-Site Safety Manager to oversee multiple electrical construction projects in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa areas.. This position will have a strong emphasis on Data Center project sites in the NE Oklahoma area(s). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and minimizing risks associated with occupational health. This role requires expertise in OSHA regulations, workers' compensation law, and environmental health and safety (EHS) practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education :

Bachelor's of Science Degree in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management (Required)

Experience :

1 to 5 years of HSE experience

Professional Certifications:

A professional certification such as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or an Associate Safety Professional (ASP) is a plus. Commercial Electrical Experience (Field or Safety Position) preferred. Responsibilities Monitor, Implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA, MSHA, EPA, etc. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Provide training and development programs for employees on safety practices, first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention. Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and compliance issues for management review. Collaborate with various departments to promote a proactive approach to occupational health and safety. Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure proper documentation is maintained. Stay updated on industry trends regarding safety regulations and best practices.

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

Position requires working indoors and outdoors, while being exposed to all elements (Heat, Cold, Wind, Rain, etc.) Fully squat, stoop or kneel for extended periods of time. Maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions
