OVERNIGHT DEPARTMENT MANAGER LIFT TRUCK- SAFETY SENSITIVE
Job Description
Schedule- 10pm to 7am Overnights, Friday and Saturday night off Pay- Starting at $50k annually.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED
Supervise all LTO's; Monitor the LTO's, ensuring all customers needs are being met; Knowledge of all merchandise; Enforce all rules and regulations; Ensure excellent customer relations; Ensure all merchandise is handled with care and with the proper merchandise handling procedures; Extensive knowledge of lift trucks will be necessary; Schedule LTO's and Tugger Operators; Ensure staff is maintaining a clean work area; Performs constant training of team leaders and the rest of the department; Ensures that department is maintaining standards established by the company; Conducts team building and communication exercises as assigned by Organizational Development Team and management; Enforces disciplinary actions, conducts reprimands, counseling sessions, and commendations; Ensures that all employees are using proper lifting techniques; Ensure all merchandise is handled with care and with the proper safety precautions; Provides leadership to support the overall communications between all departments. Delegate's responsibility appropriately; Plans and organizes efficiently and effectively, communicates goals and performance metrics to team members regularly; Other duties as directed by management.PERKS OF THE JOB

Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs; Must have Lift Truck License (written and physical); Must weigh less than 300 lbs (manufacturer requirement); ability to communicate effectively with team members; ability to train employees on proper procedures in a positive way; Team Leader experience at Mathis Brothers preferred; comfortable working up to 45 ft while secured on a lift truck; positive attitude when working with both internal and external customers; supervisory experience preferred; knowledge of merchandise handling procedures; knowledge of employment and safety procedures.PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS
To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.Heavy Work:
Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 50 lbs frequently, and up to 20 lbs constantly to move objects.Work Environment:
