•$33.35 Safety Supervisor (Night Shift) The Night Shift Safety Supervisor supports and executes the facility's safety strategy during off-shift operations within a steel tube manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and plant-specific safety procedures. The Safety Supervisor serves as the primary on-shift safety resource, driving daily safety audits, enforcing established policies, identifying hazards, facilitating corrective actions, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. The Safety Specialist supports the implementation and daily execution of JM Steel's safety program within the fabrication shop environment. This role emphasizes consistent floor presence. hazard recognition, employee engagement, and reinforcement of safe work practices during steel fabrication activities This position is hands-on and shop-focused, designed to build practical safety experience whilesupporting supervisors and employees while maintaining a safe efficient fabrication operation. Shop Floor Presence & Engagement. Maintain a consistent presence on the fabrication shop floor. Observe fabrication activities and identify hazards in real time. Engage employees to reinforce safe behaviors and correct unsafe conditions. Support a visible, approachable safety presence. Inspections & Hazard Identification. Document findings and track corrective actions to closure.

Training & Communication of Safety Supervisor:

Assist with new hire safety onboarding for shop employees. Support and help deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings. Provide clear, practical safety coaching. Incident Support. Assist with incident and near-miss reporting. Participate in incident investigations. Help identify root causes and corrective actions. Follow up to ensure corrective actions are completed. Maintain safety records (inspections, training logs, reports).

Work Hours and Environment of Safety Supervisor:

Night Shift 8:30pm

•7:00am Industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to heavy machinery, overhead cranes, forklifts, high temperatures, noise, and steel fabrication processes. Requires standing, walking, climbing stairs, and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
