Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Safety Manager to lead our workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and other regulatory standards. Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments, and root cause analysis to identify risks and implement corrective actions. Lead incident investigations, prepare detailed report writing, and recommend preventive measures to mitigate future hazards. Deliver comprehensive safety training programs focused on hazard recognition, hazardous materials regulations, first aid (including CPR), and emergency response procedures. Monitor environmental management systems to ensure compliance with environmental health regulations and environmental regulatory compliance standards in production environments. Manage workers' compensation law adherence by coordinating with insurance providers and ensuring proper documentation of workplace injuries. Stay current on safety regulations, hazardous materials regulations, occupational health standards, and environmental health policies to ensure ongoing compliance. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial environments with a strong understanding of workplace safety practices. Certification in first aid, CPR, OSHA safety regulations, environmental management systems, and hazardous materials regulations is highly preferred. Knowledge of environmental management systems, environmental compliance standards, and regulatory/legal compliance standards in production settings. Demonstrated expertise in occupational health, employee health (regulatory compliance standards), and environmental health practices. Strong report writing skills combined with the ability to perform root cause analysis effectively. Excellent training & development skills to educate employees on safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Ability to interpret complex safety regulations such as OSHA standards, EPA guidelines, Workers' Compensation law, and hazard communication rules. $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
