Position Summary The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Company's environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable regulations. This position partners with leadership and employees to foster a strong safety culture, reduce workplace injuries and environmental risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety policies, programs, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and workplace safety.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage OSHA-required programs, recordkeeping, training, reporting, and regulatory inspections, including

OSHA 300

logs and required written safety programs.

• Maintain environmental permits and oversee compliance related to hazardous waste, air emissions, stormwater, wastewater, chemical management, spill prevention, and other environmental requirements.
• Conduct facility audits, inspections, risk assessments, and compliance reviews; identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead investigations of workplace injuries, near misses, environmental incidents, and property damage events to determine root causes and reduce future risk.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs and ensure employee compliance with safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Manage workers' compensation claims, return-to-work programs, and injury prevention initiatives.
• Lead emergency preparedness activities, including emergency response planning, evacuation procedures, and drills.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Hazard Communication programs, and Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans as required.
• Partner with leadership to build and sustain a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, safety committees, recognition programs, behavior-based safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics, develop action plans, and recommend improvements to enhance safety, environmental performance, and operational effectiveness.
• Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies, inspections, audits, and compliance-related matters.
• Ensure contractors, vendors, and visitors comply with company safety and environmental requirements.
• Review new equipment, processes, and facility changes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Supervisory Responsibilities
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to managers, supervisors, and employees regarding EHS compliance, safety leadership, and best practices. Qualifications Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing OSHA compliance programs, environmental compliance requirements, incident investigations, and workers' compensation programs.
• Professional certification such as CSP, OHST, ASP, CHMM, or equivalent preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and environmental regulations applicable to manufacturing operations.
• Experience with environmental permitting, hazardous waste management, spill prevention, air quality, and stormwater compliance.
• Knowledge of safety management systems, risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, training, and employee engagement skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management systems. Physical Requirements
• Ability to walk production and warehouse areas for extended periods.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and access manufacturing equipment as needed.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection as needed. Work Environment
• Manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to machinery, noise, dust, heat, and other industrial conditions.

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
