Plant Manager Position Summary The Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining workplace health and safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. This role works to minimize workplace hazards, reduce incident rates, and foster a strong safety culture across the organization. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies, procedures, and programs Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and job hazard analysis Investigate accidents, near-misses, and incidents; determine root causes and corrective actions Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local regulations Maintain required safety records, logs (e.g., OSHA 300), and reporting documentation Design and deliver safety training programs (new hire orientation, equipment operation, emergency response, etc.) Lead emergency preparedness planning, including evacuation drills and response protocols Manage PPE programs and ensure proper selection, use, and maintenance Partner with department leaders to embed safety practices into daily operations Track safety KPIs (incident rates, near-miss reporting, training completion) and report to leadership Coordinate with insurance carriers and manage workers' compensation claims Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices Lead or participate in safety committee meetings Qualifications Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5-10+ years of experience in an EHS/safety role (management experience preferred) Korean & English bilingual is required Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards Experience conducting investigations, audits, and risk assessments Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and analytical abilities Experience in heavy industries such as manufacturing and construction Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision) 401K provided Paid time off and company holidays Equal Opportunity Employer Seojin Global is an Equal Opportunity Employer. $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
