OSHA 510
certification to lead safety initiatives across construction sites. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with all relevant construction safety regulations and standards. Your expertise in occupational health, risk management, and construction management will foster a safe working environment for all team members, contractors, and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence safety culture positively while supporting project success through rigorous safety oversight. This project will ends approximately on June, next year. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain construction safety policies aligned with OSHA standards (including
OSHA 510
requirements), ANSI standards, NFPA standards, NEC codes, and other relevant regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards related to electrical safety procedures, occupational health risks, and general construction workplace safety regulations. Lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks to ensure all personnel are knowledgeable about construction safety management practices and compliance requirements. Manage incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Oversee risk management strategies by assessing potential hazards and implementing mitigation measures across multiple construction sites. Coordinate with project managers to ensure adherence to occupational health protocols, workers' compensation procedures, and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) standards. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and compliance documentation using construction management software. Requirements
OSHA 510
certification is mandatory; additional OSHA or industry-specific certifications are a plus. Proven experience in construction site safety management within diverse construction environments. Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations including ANSI standards, NFPA standards for fire protection, NEC electrical codes, and OSHA requirements. Expertise in occupational health principles, risk management techniques, and workers' compensation processes. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train teams effectively on safety practices and compliance management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and construction management software tools. Excellent communication skills for conducting safety training sessions and collaborating with project teams. Ability to perform thorough site inspections focusing on electrical safety procedures and general workplace hazards while maintaining a proactive approach to hazard mitigation.
