About the Role A growing food manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Supervisor to support daily operations. This is a hands-on leadership role with strong visibility across the plant and an opportunity to make a direct impact on food safety, product quality, and operational performance. The ideal candidate will be comfortable balancing team leadership, floor-level involvement, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration . You will work closely with Production, Maintenance, and other departments to maintain high standards and continuously improve plant processes. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily activities of Quality team members, including task assignment, training, coaching, and performance management Maintain and support compliance with food safety programs, including GMP, HACCP, and applicable certification standards Conduct inspections, audits, and routine testing to monitor product quality and food safety Review quality documentation, test results, production records, and other required documentation for accuracy and compliance Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and other departments to investigate quality concerns and implement corrective actions Assist with preparation for internal and external audits, including documentation, follow-up, and corrective actions Maintain and update quality-related procedures, SOPs, sanitation protocols, and work instructions Track and trend key quality metrics, including environmental monitoring results, customer complaints, non-conformances, and corrective actions Support onboarding and ongoing training for employees on food safety, quality, sanitation, and GMP requirements Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility Promote a strong food safety and quality culture across the organization Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Sanitation, or a related role within food manufacturing Previous experience leading, supervising, training, or mentoring team members Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, food safety programs, and regulatory requirements Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Maintenance, and other cross-functional teams.
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 1st shift.
Pay:
$65,000-$75,000, depending on experience.
