This project involves multiple active construction scopes including trenching, excavation, grading, concrete operations, underground utility installation, and duct bank construction .The Field Safety Manager will provide direct field safety oversight across civil and utility construction activities while supporting daily safety compliance, inspections, hazard recognition, and contractor accountability. Required Qualifications OSHA 30 Certification Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification Construction Field Safety Management Experience Ability to Support Excavation and Trenching Operations Experience Working Around Underground Utility Installation Activities Strong Understanding of OSHA Construction Standards Ability to Conduct Site Inspections, Audits, and Hazard Assessments Candidates Must Carry Their Own Workers' Compensation Coverage Preferred Qualifications Data Center Construction Experience BCSP Credential (CHST, ASP, CSP, or Similar) Bachelor's Degree in Safety or Related Field Heavy Civil Construction Experience Utility Construction Safety Experience What You'll Be Doing Provide field safety leadership across multiple active construction scopes Monitor excavation, trenching, and grading activities for OSHA compliance Support concrete placement and underground utility installation operations Conduct daily site inspections, observations, and safety audits Identify hazards and work with project leadership to implement corrective actions Participate in incident investigations and follow-up actions Promote safe work practices through active field engagement Review work activities and assist with risk mitigation planning Maintain project safety documentation and reporting requirements Act as the primary safety presence during night shift operations Technical Knowledge Candidates should have working knowledge of: OSHA Construction Standards ExcavationTrenching Safety Underground Utility Installation Duct Bank Construction Activities Heavy Civil Construction Operations Construction Hazard Recognition Incident InvestigationCorrective Actions Field InspectionsAudits Contractor Safety Oversight Construction Risk AssessmentMitigation What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate is a hands-on field safety professional with civil construction experience who can independently support night shift operations on a fast-paced data center project.
