Production Team Leader & Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Team Leader Vuteq USA, Inc. | Madison, Alabama Vuteq USA is seeking motivated, safety-focused, and results-driven leaders to join our growing team. We currently have multiple openings for Production Team Leaders as well as an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Team Leader . Production Team Leader Position Summary The Production Team Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating production team members while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and customer requirements are achieved. This position serves as the first line of leadership on the production floor by supporting daily operations, coaching team members, and promoting continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead daily production activities to meet customer schedules and production goals. Ensure team members work safely and follow established work standards. Monitor quality, productivity, and standard work compliance. Coordinate manpower and communicate attendance concerns. Support training and development of team members. Identify equipment concerns and communicate maintenance needs. Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. Serve as the communication link between production leadership and team members. Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational success. Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Team Leader Position Summary The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Team Leader provides leadership, technical expertise, and strategic direction for the site's Environmental, Health, and Safety programs. Working closely with the EHS Specialist and plant leadership, this role ensures regulatory compliance while fostering a proactive culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead and support site Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives. Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations. Coach and mentor leaders and team members on safe work practices. Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies and procedures. Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and environmental inspections. Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions. Monitor EHS performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities. Coordinate OSHA recordkeeping, Workers' Compensation activities, and regulatory reporting. Support and deliver EHS training programs. Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Human Resources, and Quality teams. Coordinate emergency preparedness activities and regulatory inspections. Drive sustainability initiatives, waste reduction, and environmental stewardship. Mentor and support the EHS Specialist while promoting employee engagement and accountability.
Minimum Qualifications Candidates should possess:
High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree preferred for EHS Team Lead). Previous leadership or team lead experience in manufacturing preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Computer proficiency. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
