Job Title:
HSE SpecialistJob Description In this role, you will support the site's Health, Safety, and Environmental programs to ensure a safe workplace and regulatory compliance. You will help develop safety systems, conduct audits, support incident investigations, and partner with employees and leadership to strengthen the overall safety culture. This position works independently with guidance from the HSE Manager and requires onsite presence Monday through Friday. Responsibilities + Develop and implement safety systems to enhance workplace safety. + Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. + Support and conduct incident investigations, including analysis of incidents and near-misses. + Collaborate with employees and leadership to promote and strengthen safety culture. + Provide guidance and support to employees regarding health and safety issues. Essential Skills + 2-5 years of experience in health and safety roles. + Hands-on experience with safety investigations, including incident and near-miss analysis. + At least 2 years of experience conducting safety and environmental audits and inspections. + Strong documentation and record-keeping skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in health and safety roles within manufacturing, industrial, or similar fast-paced environments. + Experience supporting or delivering safety training in a workplace setting for groups of 20-100 people. + BS Degree in Environment, Health, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a science-related field. Work Environment This role operates in both office and manufacturing environments. The position is onsite Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility based on business needs. The work is mostly sedentary but may require occasional movement throughout the facility. PPE such as safety shoes, goggles, and hearing protection is required in production areas. Must comply with all plant safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements. Travel up to 5% may be required. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Scottsdale, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $80000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
