Job Description

The EHS Operations Lead is responsible for coordinating Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and compliance activities to support a safe and healthy work environment. This role serves as a lead resource for EHS initiatives, partnering with operations and members to promote safety, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and support EHS programs, policies, and compliance initiatives. Conduct safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments. Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, recommending corrective actions. Facilitate safety training, onboarding, and awareness programs for members. Maintain EHS records, documentation, and regulatory reporting requirements. Monitor safety performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. Partner with operational leaders to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Lead EHS projects and continuous improvement efforts. Serve as a subject matter resource for EHS-related questions and best practices. Support emergency preparedness and response activities. 5+ years of EHS, safety, or related operational experience preferred. Working knowledge of OSHA and EHS compliance requirements. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated leadership in driving safety initiatives and promoting accountability across teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS reporting systems.
