Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Health, Safety, Environmental Admin for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fremont, CA. This role supports Health, Safety and Environmental programs within a manufacturing environment and serves as an important resource for employees, managers and HSE leadership. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented safety professional who enjoys a mix of administrative coordination, compliance support, training, facility inspections and continuous improvement. The position offers exposure to a broad range of HSE functions, supportive leadership from an HSE Manager, and the opportunity to build strong cross-functional relationships in a team-focused industrial workplace. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer Health, Safety and Environmental programs, documentation, safety meetings, drills and training activities.
- Inspect facilities, equipment and work practices to identify safety, environmental and occupational health hazards, then follow up on corrective actions.
- Support accident, incident, near miss and hazard investigations, including documentation, reporting and trend tracking.
- Assist with OSHA and Cal/OSHA compliance, OSHA 300 logs, workers compensation claims, audits and third-party administrator accounts.
- Manage hazardous materials and waste-related activities, including SDS databases, chemical reviews, spill response coordination and regulatory reporting.
- Support Safety Committee and Emergency Response Team activities, including meeting coordination, program updates and emergency plan revisions. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour.

Location:
Fremont, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Coordinate HSE programs, documentation, inspections, audits and corrective action tracking.
- Support safety training, safety meetings, emergency response activities and regulatory compliance programs.
- Assist with incident investigations, OSHA reporting, workers compensation support and hazardous materials administration.
- Maintain SDS databases, safety records, third-party compliance platforms and HSE program files.
- AA degree or two years of college required.
- Two to three years of experience in a construction or manufacturing environment required.
- Working knowledge of HSE regulations, including OSHA and Cal/OSHA requirements.
- Strong computer skills and ability to maintain accurate hard copy and electronic documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers and external agencies.
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a compliance-driven environment.
- Ability to evaluate complex situations, identify safety concerns and recommend practical solutions.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality and dependable transportation required.
- Ability to work in an office setting and occasionally perform indoor and outdoor facility inspections.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or move up to 10 pounds. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting hazardous materials, hazardous waste, SDS management or environmental compliance programs.
- Experience maintaining
OSHA 300
logs, assisting with workers compensation claims or supporting safety audits.- Familiarity with third-party administrator platforms such as ISNetworld, Avetta, OSCA, DISA, Browz or Appruv.
- Experience serving on or coordinating Safety Committee or Emergency Response Team activities.
