Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a EHS Technician for a Contract with a client in Pomona, CA. The ideal candidate is responsible for supporting environmental, health, safety, and industrial hygiene programs to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a safe workplace environment.

Rate Range:
$24/hour to $25/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.EHS Technician Job Responsibilities include:
Assist with environmental, health, safety, and industrial hygiene programs to promote a safe and compliant workplace. Conduct EHS inspections, audits, and workplace assessments, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions. Support incident and accident investigations, maintain records, and assist with the implementation of preventive measures. Coordinate EHS training programs, including Lockout/Tagout, environmental compliance, and workplace safety initiatives. Manage environmental compliance activities, including hazardous waste handling, environmental reporting, permit support, and recycling programs. Monitor contractor compliance, maintain EHS documentation and databases, and support fire protection, ergonomic, and industrial hygiene programs.Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or coursework in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred. 2-3 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), manufacturing, industrial operations, or a related environment. Knowledge of EHS regulations and standards, including OSHA, MIOSHA, EPA, DOT, and environmental compliance requirements. Experience supporting safety audits, incident investigations, hazardous waste management, environmental reporting, EHS training, and workplace safety programs.
