Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This position plays a critical role in hospital safety by cleaning the facilities to hospital standards. The EVS Technician I aids in the prevention of communicable disease by thoroughly disinfecting public areas and private rooms. Cleans office and administrative areas in hospital as well as outpatient care centers, restrooms, clinical equipment, floors and hallways. May also be responsible for linen stocking and delivery.

Understands that honesty and ethics are essential 4. Ability to maintain a positive attitude, use open communication, & maintain professional relationships 5. Possesses basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.), including relevant electronic and communication devices 6. Strong attention to detail 7. Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians, or others 8. Observes safety precautions at all times, uses safety signs (i.e. "wet floor") 9. Knowledge of regulatory/safety requirements related to all assigned work 10. Reports safety hazards as appropriate 11. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma/GED preferred
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language
