- Where is the work:
- Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires. Responsible for the promotion and maintenance of the Area or Regional environmental safety and health program, inclusive of wellness and security as it applies to employees' safety while performing work, as directed by the Regional Environmental Health and Safety Leader.
- What you will do:
- + Assist with leading and coordinating safety process efforts in the commercial sales / service offices as directed by the Regional EHS Leader.
- What you will bring:
- + Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental or Safety Sciences/Engineering, or related field preferred.
CSP, CIH, CHSM
). + A minimum 3+ years of practical environmental health and safety management experience at a medium-large site preferred. + General knowledge of OSHA, EPA, MSHA, DOT, Canada Health & Safety Board as regionally appropriate. + Experience in the interpretation of federal, provincial, state, local, environmental and safety standards. + Beginning experience in fast-paced, changing/growing organization. + Excellent time management skills and computer experience in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and EHS data management system (i.e. Gensuite). + Ability to motivate, engage and influence others. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written and verbal in English. Bi-lingual is an asset. + Demonstrated ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction and strategy.Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:
- + Must be able to safely and legally operate a vehicle using a seat belt.
Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:
- $60,000.00 - $109,340.00
