Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a Fire and Life Safety Systems Inspector to perform inspections and testing of fire alarms, fire sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, kitchen hood suppression systems, clean agent systems, and backflow preventers. We recognize that very few candidates have experience across all areas of fire protection. So, whether your background is in fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, suppression systems, plumbing, electrical, mechanical trades, or inspections--we are willing to invest in the right individual!

Key Responsibilities:

Perform inspections and testing of fire protection systems. Complete inspection reports and deficiency documention. Communicate findings with customers and facility personnel. Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local regulations. Represent Acom Fire Solutions with professionalism and integrity. What You Bring to the

Team:

Experience in the inspection and testing of fire safety products. Ability to read and understand design and construction documents. Ability to work in a team environment, providing dedicated support to our customers. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have a valid driver's license and able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Physical Requirements:

Stand, walk, sit, twist, use hands to hand, reach with hands and arms, push, pull, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. Use vision abilities including close distance, peripheral, depth and color. Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone and/or tablet. Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as atop ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc. Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 75 lbs unassisted.

Pay:
