Position Overview:
As a Sanitation Team Member, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic production environment in our food manufacturing facility. Your work ensures our products meet company standards and food safety regulations. Two Shifts Hours 3:00PM-11:30PM Hours 11:30PM-7:30
AM Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize equipment, production lines, floors, walls, and other facility areas according to the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS). Follow safety, quality, and food safety procedures including GMPs, SSOPs, and HACCP. Participate in pre-operational inspections and environmental swabbing as directed. Use cleaning chemicals safely and wear appropriate PPE. Maintain accurate sanitation records and complete checklists as required. Report sanitation issues to supervisors and assist in resolving them. Ensure proper storage and use of sanitation supplies and chemicals. Work as part of a team to promote a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in sanitation or cleaning preferred but not required. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices a plus. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends if needed. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, or noisy environments as required. Use PPE (gloves, goggles, masks, etc.) when handling chemicals or cleaning equipment.
