About the Role As a Safety Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. You will assist with safety inspections, hazard analysis, and employee training to maintain the highest standards of workplace safety. Key Responsibilities Document safety inspections, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions. Maintain safety equipment supply and availability. Sample and analyze for exposure to hazards (chemicals, fumes, gases, noise, lighting). Assist in applying safety policies and employee safety training. Maintain files and records, including material safety data sheets. Support hazardous material programs and regulatory compliance. Interface with regulatory agencies as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of related experience. Knowledge of safety policies, regulations, and correct use of safety equipment. Ability to operate lab equipment, generators, pumps, gauges, and tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform control calculations. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
