Job Title :
EHS Intern Intern responsibilities, tasks and learning objectives: The following will be conducted under the guidance and supervision of the Safety Director John Patterson
MS, CSP, REM.
The intern will assist Mike Sutkowski (Safety Coordinator) on listed projects below:
Projects:
Assist in Automating Manual Inspections Confined Space Inventory HazCom Inventory Facility Ladder Inspection /
Inventory Safety Tasks:
LOTO validation tracking and transition to Microsoft D365 Assist in Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) for new equipment
Safety Databases:
Sharepoint / DocuKlaud Workplace Observation Processing Safety Inspections HazCom Processing - DocuKlaud Participate in incident investigations Safety Training/Presentations Monthly Safety Training Internship After Action Review with
Vybond Corporate EHS Other Responsibilities:
1. Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications :
1. Enrolled in an accredited Baccalaureate or Master's degree program with a G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher 2. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations 3. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task 4. Problem-solving skills, assertiveness and strong initiative 5. Team-oriented thinking with enthusiasm for continuous learning 6. Minimum completion of sophomore status in good standing preferred 7. Participation in school or extracurricular activities and experience in leadership roles preferred 8. Some knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other government regulations. 9. Ability to read and write. 10. Must have excellent attendance.
