Job DescriptionThe HSE Associate will be responsible for the implementation, administration, interpretation, and enforcement of safety & environmental requirements including site, Bosch, local, state and federal regulations. Establish safety & environmental standards based on risk/hazard analysis to meet regulatory requirements and HSE management systems (ISO 14001 and
ISO 45001
). Review of HSE incidents for root cause and establishment of corrective and preventive actions. Provide technical assistance with various site staff functions. Coordinate site safety teams.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure Gemba Walks are completed and updated as neededHSE related communication including training and safety alertsPrepare and Present HSE related training materialLead/participate in Incident Investigation facilitating root cause analysis and proper corrective and preventive actionsMaintain and improve site e-Learning, SDS and incident tracking systemsParticipate in/lead site emergency response teamsConduct hazard assessments of equipment/jobs to ensure they meet all applicable requirementsDevelop/revise HSE related policies/procedures for the site and drive implementationMaintain and improve the site's
MVPP, ISO
14001 and
ISO 45001
management systemsLead audits of key program areas to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standardsConduct formal reviews of new equipment, equipment modifications, or process changesMaintain data and documentation to meet Corporate and regulatory requirements and Sustainability Reporting. Provide leadership and guidance to the site safety teams and 5S activitiesInteract with state and federal agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies' requirementsContribute to Bosch HSE teams in North America through project support and internal auditing 
QualificationsRequired:
Bachelors Degree1-3 years of experience in a Safety or Environmental support role in a warehousing, manufacturing, or industrial environment - OR - High School Diploma or equivalent, with 3-5 years of experience in a Safety or Environmental support role in a warehousing, manufacturing, or industrial environmentValid Driver's LicenseWorking knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Ability to travel occasionally This position requires onsite presence
Preferred:
B.S. in Engineering, Health, Safety and Environmental Sciences, Occupational Safety, or related fieldKnowledge of regulatory bodies and standards (OSHA, EPA, ISO, RCRA, etc.)Ability to work independently and with a teamAdditional InformationIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
