Job Description

Fire Alarm Technician - NICET Certified (Metro Detroit, Part‑Time, 1099) We are seeking a Fire Alarm Technician with active NICET certification to perform service calls and NFPA‑compliant inspections throughout the Metro Detroit area . This is a part‑time, 1099 contractor role with the flexibility to set your own schedule . Responsibilities Service Calls — Diagnose, repair, and maintain fire alarm systems and components Inspections — Perform annual, semi‑annual, and quarterly NFPA 72 inspections Document deficiencies, repairs, and inspection results accurately Communicate professionally with customers and building managers Follow NFPA, state, and local Metro Detroit fire code requirements Requirements NICET Level I-III in Fire Alarm Systems (required) Experience with commercial and/or residential fire alarm systems Strong troubleshooting skills and code knowledge Valid driver's license Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Position Type Part‑time 1099 contractor
