Duration:
12+ Months Pay rate: $25•27/Hr. Responsibilities Division EHS Contact for assigned divisions within R D community at company Center, including R D labs, Pilot Plants, and remote support to Austin, TX. Lead EHS risk assessments, including escalating to additional subject matter experts as needed. Serve as hazardous waste coordinator, including updating waste stream profiles for new materials, planning for lab clean-out days, and connecting clients with guidance for miscellaneous waste types. Conduct exposure assessments and personal protective equipment (PPE) assessments. Lead routine EHS inspections. Participate in incident investigations. Track EHS activities such as action items and pending approvals. Maintain active communication channels within the EHS team and with R D groups. Share information with applicable team members, including escalation of issues, sharing successes, and noticed trends. Activities to support EHS programs related to risk assessment and control. Opportunity to extend contract up to 5 years. Required Skills Seeking candidates with EHS experience or interest in EHS. Experience in an R D setting is also beneficial. Ideally, seeking 1+ years of experience. Experience or interest in learning risk assessment processes and database/tools. Ability to understand descriptions of R D processes. Strong skills in communication, organization, project management, and documentation. Ability to adapt to change.
