• Dierbergs Markets Food Sanitation Maintenance Associates keep our food production departments clean and running at the highest level.

They are independent and have a strong attention to detail which helps with their responsibilities: Perform a wide range of cleaning functions in the Bakery, Deli, Seafood, Meat, Salad Bar and Produce Departments Primary duties will consist of the heavy-duty cleaning of walls, floors, ceiling, coolers, drains, equipment, and cases (after the product is removed) in all perishable departments Operate commercial power equipment such as floor scrubbers, steamers, power washers, scrubber, buffer, trash compactor, etc. Carry out daily cleaning, as well as weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual deep-cleaning requirements Essentials At least 18 years of age Strong attention to detail and aptitude to learn and use cleaning chemicals, including understanding basic information (chemical names and product labels) The ability to navigate and move ladders frequently over extended periods of time Ability to work independently Read basic information (ex: chemical names and product labels) Flexibility to work a varied schedule that includes weekends and holidays Prompt and regular attendance based on your schedule Adherence to our dress code, appearance and personal hygiene standards Associates in food handling departments are required to receive a Hepatitis A vaccination (MO only) Physical Requirements Lifting & Carrying
