The University of Central Missouri is seeking applications for two student workers, in large undergraduate and graduate programs emphasizing occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental, and risk management.

Duties Include:

Assist with Safety Olympics Team preparations. Maintain department social media accounts. Assist with safety equipment maintenance. Active participation in student safety meetings. Assist with front-end requests where needed.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent. GPA 3.0 or greater in a safety program.

Experience:

Knowledge of occupational safety and health discipline. Word-Processing, Spreadsheet. Attention to detail. Communication skills, including oral, written and/or nonverbal. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines. Maintain confidentiality.

Working Hours and Days:

Monday-Friday, some Saturdays and evenings. No more than 20 hours per week.
