Follow strict GMP guidelines to maintain cleanliness standards required for food safety, pharmaceutical production, or manufacturing environments. Conduct heavy lifting and manual tasks associated with janitorial and industrial cleaning activities while adhering to safety protocols. Document all cleaning activities accurately in logs or reports, including chemical usage, areas cleaned, and any issues encountered. Support sanitation efforts during production shutdowns or scheduled maintenance to ensure compliance with industry standards. Skills Proven experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within manufacturing or food processing environments. Knowledge of chemical agent handling, sanitation procedures, and chemical safety protocols. Familiarity with GMP standards applicable to food safety or pharmaceutical manufacturing settings. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during cleaning tasks. Basic math skills for measuring chemicals accurately and recording data precisely. Strong understanding of respiratory protection use and other PPE requirements for safe chemical handling.
