Yes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, or related field 4-5 years of hands-on Industrial Hygiene / EHS experience Experience with employee safety, exposure assessment, recommendations, and policy development Experience with air, noise, and chemical monitoring/exposure assessment Experience developing and executing industrial hygiene sampling plans Ability to interpret sampling results and provide written reports Experience conducting risk assessments and Job Hazard Analyses Strong understanding of industry standards, including NIOSH, OSHA, and ACGIH Strong communication and customer-service skills Valid driver's license and personal vehicle Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship CIH is a plus but not required Job Notes Position is onsite at a major pharmaceutical company Responsible for developing, overseeing, and implementing the Industrial Hygiene program Conduct employee monitoring and evaluate exposure and risk Air, noise, and chemical monitoring Conduct risk assessments Develop sampling plans and interpret results Prepare and deliver reports Make recommendations for appropriate exposure controls Very customer-focused role Looking for approximately 4-5 years of experience CIH certification is not required Open to candidates who may be somewhat overqualified Strong understanding of applicable industry standards is important Dimensions OHS is a good source for candidates with similar experience Key Responsibilities Evaluate novel compounds and known hazards for occupational exposure risks using the Occupational Exposure Banding (OEB) process Develop and independently execute Industrial Hygiene sampling plans using appropriate NIOSH, OSHA, and ACGIH methodologies Analyze sampling data and recommend engineering, administrative, and PPE controls Conduct air, dust, vapor, gas, chemical, noise, and other occupational exposure monitoring Assess engineering controls such as fume hoods, containment enclosures, and local exhaust ventilation Conduct workplace safety inspections and evaluate PPE compliance Identify physical and health hazards and recommend appropriate corrective measures Investigate accidents and injuries, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions Communicate directly with client personnel regarding workplace safety and exposure concerns Develop and update EHS policies, procedures, and manuals Facilitate and document Job Hazard Analyses Evaluate risk and prioritize Industrial Hygiene Assessments Provide recommendations based on direct observation of pharmaceutical manufacturing and life sciences processes Preferred Qualifications Professional consulting/advisory experience with third-party clients Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or life sciences Familiarity with cGMP environments and pharmaceutical quality standards Two or more industry-recognized certifications/trainings such as: OSHA 10 or 30 ABSA

They should be comfortable independently developing sampling plans, conducting air/noise/chemical exposure monitoring, interpreting results, performing risk assessments, and making recommendations to reduce employee exposure.
