Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Will work with Earle Safety Manager to assist in day-to-day activities of the Safety Division to ensure a safe, healthy, and incident-free work environment.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Attend weekly safety meeting
- Attend weekly scheduling meeting
- Oversee plant inspections
- Visit job sites to ensure safety
- Attend Mechanics monthly safety meeting
- Oversee DOT truck DVIR spot inspections
- Attend Foreman's meeting, every other Saturday
- Attend all incidents that may occur
- Investigate all incidents and root cause
- Attend Safety Webinars
- Data entry - Excel Spreadsheets, prepare safety reports for meetings
- Complete online safety training
- Attend Safety Orientation for New Hires
- Conduct Tool Box Talks with Crews
