Job Description
Core Tech Industrial Corp. is seeking a dedicated, proactive Health & Safety Specialist, focused on shop floor safety, to support our Health & Safety program and strengthen our daily safety presence throughout our production and warehouse operations. Reporting to the Health & Safety Leader, this position will spend a significant portion of each day on the shop floor, working directly with employees, supervisors, and department managers to ensure established safety standards and procedures are consistently followed. The ideal candidate is highly visible, approachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable addressing unsafe behaviors or conditions in real time. This role is focused heavily on daily safety execution, employee engagement, hazard identification, and adherence to established safety standards. Key Responsibilities Maintain a consistent and highly visible daily safety presence on the production and warehouse floors. Conduct routine safety walks and observations across all production, warehouse, material handling, and staging areas. Monitor employee adherence to established safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Identify unsafe behaviors, conditions, and potential hazards and work with employees and supervisors to correct issues promptly. Reinforce safety expectations directly with employees through coaching, education, and real-time intervention. Partner closely with Shop Supervisors and Department Managers to improve daily safety performance and accountability. Verify safe practices related but not limited to:
- Forklift and powered industrial truck operations
- Rigging and crane operations
- Ladder safety
- Electrical safety
- Fall protection and prevention
- PPE usage
- Material handling and storage
- Compressed gas storage and handling
- Portable power and hand tools
- Housekeeping and aisle/access requirements
- Loading, unloading, and warehouse activities Assist with and conduct toolbox talks and other shop-floor safety training Participating in new employee safety orientation and reinforce expectations as employees transition onto the shop floor Document safety observations, hazards, corrective actions, and recurring areas of concern Follow up on identified safety issues to ensure corrective actions have been completed.

$60,000.00- $75,000.
