Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Sanitation Collection Specialist to join our collection team. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently collecting residential and/or commercial waste and recyclables, loading materials onto collection vehicles, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. This is an active, hands-on position that plays an important role in keeping our communities clean and our collection operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Collect and load garbage, refuse, recyclables, and other approved materials from designated locations. Ride on collection vehicles and safely assist with collection operations. Lift, carry, pull, and maneuver waste containers and materials. Follow established collection routes, schedules, and company procedures. Communicate effectively with the driver and other members of the collection crew. Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow all safety procedures while working around moving vehicles and equipment. Keep collection areas and work areas clean and free of unnecessary debris. Properly identify and report hazardous, prohibited, or improperly disposed materials. Assist with basic cleaning and upkeep of collection equipment and vehicles as needed. Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with customers and the public. Perform other duties as assigned to support the sanitation and collection team. Qualifications Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including frequent lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and walking. Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and other changing weather conditions. Strong awareness of safety and willingness to follow company procedures. Previous sanitation, waste collection, construction, landscaping, or other outdoor labor experience is a plus, but not required. Valid driver's license is a plus but may not be required depending on position responsibilities. Physical Requirements Ability to repeatedly lift and move waste containers and materials. Ability to climb on and off collection equipment safely. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull for extended periods. Ability to work safely around moving vehicles, equipment, and traffic. Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 45.0 per week
