WomenSafe is currently seeking a part-time Resident Care Specialist. Flexible schedule, Saturdays are mandatory.

Resident Care Specialist Duties:

• Assisting survivors and families of domestic violence
• Providing Domestic Violence Prevention Education and Safety Planning
• Training in Trauma-Informed Care and Mental Health
• Crisis Response, Managing Crisis Calls
• Providing education on healthy relationships and boundaries
• Assisting with providing emergency shelter services
• Documentation of services provided
• Provide Transportation for clients with an agency vehicle
• Engage with survivors in the shelter individually and in group settings
• Provide educations, such as developing self-confidence, socialization, safety, and empowerment

Qualifications:

• Ability to interact positively and effectively
• Minimum High School Diploma
• Complete Background Check
• State of Ohio Vehicle Operators License and ability to be covered by the agency's motor vehicle insurance carrier

Pay:

$19.00 per hour
