$25.00 per hour Superior is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in our internship program during the Spring 2027 term (January - April). When you join Superior, you join a national leader in electrical design and construction. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, we provide our interns with lunch-and-learns, leadership training, career prep, unique jobsite visits, and beyond. Under the guidance of our Safety team, the Safety Intern will gain exposure to all aspects of safety across our construction jobsites and enterprise accounts. You will also support jobsite safety initiatives to ensure our team members uphold proper protocols. This role is based on a jobsite. Key Responsibilities Participate in daily walk through of safety audits on large construction sites and helps ensure compliance with government rules and regulations Assist in the completion of audits or daily reports describing activities completed, critical conversations, issues, etc. Help create, maintain, and update documentation and forms Assist with training and onboarding new Safety Professionals as needed Collaborate with the Safety team on training programs and initiatives to grow safety culture onsite Create and distribute site specific Toolbox Talks Help to organize PPE in multiple locations onsite Assist with creating safety reports for the multiple projects
Education Required:
You must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Safety or a related field
