Job Responsibilities include:
Provide first aid to associates. Perform routine safety and fire inspections. Conduct injury and incident investigations. Lead new associate orientations and associate training sessions. Manage environmental compliance duties. Organize, manage, interpret, and communicate MSDS procedures. Lead safety projects and develop safety countermeasures.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
B.S. degree in a related field or three years' experience in EHS, preferably in manufacturing. Experience with behavior-based safety initiatives. Environmental and safety auditing experience. EMT/First Responder certification or willingness to complete training. Excellent written, oral, and computer skills; proficient in all MS Office programs. Organizational and leadership skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to effectively train a variety of audiences; and Willingness to travel to our subsidiaries for support.
