Job Description
Precon Structures is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Bilingual Safety Technician to support operations at our Broken Arrow facility. Candidates must be local to Broken Arrow or the surrounding area, be fluent in English and Spanish, and hold a current OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification. This is a full-time position limited to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm Full time: 40 hours Position Summary The Safety Technician will monitor daily work activities, reinforce safety expectations, assist with training, and help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable OSHA requirements. This position will work closely with employees, supervisors, and leadership to strengthen Precon's safety culture and support the company's commitment to 100% compliance and zero harm. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine safety inspections and observations. Identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, and workplace hazards. Reinforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Lead or assist with toolbox talks, safety meetings, and employee training. Communicate safety expectations in both English and Spanish. Monitor proper use of personal protective equipment. Assist with incident reporting, documentation, and corrective actions. Maintain safety records, training logs, and inspection reports. Work with supervisors to ensure safety concerns are corrected promptly. Promote accountability and a strong zero-harm safety culture. Required Qualifications Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required. Must be fluent in English and Spanish. Must live in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, or a nearby community. Previous safety experience in construction, precast concrete, manufacturing, or an industrial environment preferred. Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills. Ability to address safety concerns professionally and consistently. Ability to work independently in an active precast production environment.
