Kinetix is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure excellence across our Fire and Life Safety service division. This role will manage field support teams, ensuring smooth coordination of inspection, testing, maintenance, service, repair, and project activities. The Service Manager will drive operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company goals, standards, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management Supervise and provide leadership to field technicians. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the service team. Serve as a liaison between the field, sales, and program management teams to ensure smooth coordination and communication. Operational Oversight Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and workflow management, ensuring efficient utilization of resources. Monitor project timelines, backlog, and deliverables to maintain on-time performance and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications for all Fire and Life Safety Systems. Coordinate and monitor field productivity, quality control, and safety compliance. Financial Management Assist in budget development and cost management for service operations. Monitor labor, material, and subcontractor expenses to ensure alignment with project and service budgets. Participate in monthly financial project close meetings to review operational performance and identify cost-saving opportunities. Customer Service & Quality Assurance Oversee customer communications related to service requests, project scheduling, and issue resolution. Ensure timely response and professional handling of customer concerns to maintain strong client relationships. Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction using, reporting, and feedback loops.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a management or operations role within the Fire and Life Safety industry. Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate large-scale service operations. Strong understanding of Fire and Life Safety Systems (fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, and related systems). Working knowledge of NFPA standards (including NFPA 25, 72, and 20) and applicable building/fire codes. Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, and operational performance. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems (minimum required).
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
