• Onsite Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Site Safety Specialist to support our Recycling Operations team and help strengthen a proactive, Safety First culture. This role will partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, Human Resources, and site leadership to identify workplace hazards, support regulatory compliance, investigate incidents, deliver safety training, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Conduct workplace inspections, safety observations, JHAs, and risk assessments Support incident, injury, near-miss, and property damage investigations Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action tracking Support compliance with OSHA requirements, ISO 45001, and company safety standards Assist with audits, regulatory inspections, training, and safety program development Monitor safety trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Maintain safety records and activity within EHS management systems such as EHS Insight Qualifications 3+ years of health and safety experience in manufacturing, industrial, recycling, mining, or a similar environment Bachelor's degree in Safety, EHS, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered Experience with safety inspections, audits, training, hazard assessments, and incident investigations OSHA 30 preferred

ISO 45001

Internal Auditor certification preferred Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, PHA, DHA, and EHS software experience are a plus Compliance & Work Environment Candidates must be able to meet applicable ITAR and NAID requirements . This role works in an active industrial environment and requires the ability to walk production areas, climb stairs, stand for extended periods, wear required PPE, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
