Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and influential Safety Professional to support our cement plant operations in Nazareth, PA. In this role, you will partner with plant leadership and employees to foster a strong safety culture, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. What You'll Be Doing Lead safety initiatives that promote a proactive, injury-free workplace culture. Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify and eliminate hazards. Provide coaching, training, and guidance to leaders and employees on safe work practices. Monitor compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and environmental, health, and safety programs. Analyze safety trends and recommend practical solutions that improve performance and reduce risk. What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and promote a strong safety culture in an industrial environment. Knowledge of occupational safety regulations, hazard identification, incident investigation, and risk mitigation practices. MSHA knowledge strongly preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels. Proven capability to analyze safety data, identify trends, and implement effective corrective actions. Solid computer skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Work Environment This position is based at a cement manufacturing facility and requires regular presence throughout the plant, including operational, maintenance, and production areas. The role may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, moving equipment, and elevated work areas. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and required.
