Job Description

Edifice Rx currently has a project based opening for an Industrial Hygiene (IH) Project Tech to assist with Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) studies, post-construction LEED testing, and other general IH. Training will be provided by an experienced Industrial Hygienist. Edifice Rx® is a unique company that specializes in the development and maintenance of healthy Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) in commercial, multi-family, schools and universities.
Job Functions:
The Project Tech would be responsible for performing IEQ testing support, including, but not limited to, assisting an experienced Industrial Hygienist with: Indoor Air Quality sampling Water Quality sampling LEED Indoor Air Quality testing Moisture and Mold investigations Data compilation.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of Environmental Science/EHS, Industrial Hygiene, or other applicable technical major or facilities experience .5 - 5+ years' experience - any career stage Some knowledge of general commercial building system operations Some knowledge/experience working on building construction job sites and/or basic review of mechanical plans Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook Detail oriented Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction Strong work ethic, reliability and trustworthiness Valid driver's license and automobile for transportation. Ability to lift 50lbs Work schedule would entail 1/2 to full day onsite in Philadelphia and mid-Atlantic region While rare, night work and potential weekend work may be required during emergency response work. If showing excellent skills and work product, additional work in office/remote may be added.
