Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Safety Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring workplace safety and compliance with
CAL OSHA
regulations. This position involves evaluating safety protocols, providing training, and developing strategies to minimize risks and enhance occupational health standards within the organization. Responsibilities Conduct thorough safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Be capable of managing multiple trade partners saftey programs Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs in compliance with OSHA standards. Provide training development for employees on safety practices, including First Aid and CPR. Capable of providing in person safety related training Assist in the investigation of workplace incidents, utilizing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences. Prepare detailed reports on safety assessments, incidents, and compliance status for management review. Advise on workers' compensation law and assist in managing claims processes effectively. Collaborate with various departments to foster a culture of safety throughout the organization. Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in occupational health regulations. Requirements Proven experience as a Safety Consultant or similar role in occupational health and safety. Strong knowledge of
CAL OSHA
regulations and workers' compensation laws. Experience in training development related to safety protocols and emergency response procedures. Proficiency in report writing with excellent communication skills. Ability to fabricate safety solutions tailored to specific workplace environments. Strong analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis for incident investigation. A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
