Qualified candidates must have 5-10+ years of EHS experience, an active CIH certification, and hands-on experience with air, noise, and chemical exposure monitoring . Job Description The Senior Environmental Health & Safety Consultant will report to a Regional EHS Director and provide environmental health and safety consulting services to assigned clients throughout the Greater Boston area. This position will work on a project-based basis and will have flexibility to work from home when not traveling to client sites. The consultant will also participate in client development activities. Responsibilities Measure occupational and environmental hazards, including noise and ergonomics, using calibrated scientific equipment. Collect samples of dust, vapors, gases, and other potential exposures using established procedures. Conduct air, noise, chemical, and industrial hygiene exposure monitoring. Evaluate the effectiveness of engineered control systems, including ventilation systems and fume hoods. Inspect machinery, equipment, lifting devices, machine guards, scaffolding, and other workplace systems for safety concerns.
