Previous safety experience is not required , as training will be provided to the right candidate. However, candidates with previous experience in Safety, Hours of Service (HOS), DOT compliance, driver logs, or the transportation industry are highly encouraged to apply. We are looking for someone who is methodical, responsible, proactive, and willing to learn , with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures consistently. Responsibilities Assist the Safety Department with daily administrative and operational tasks. Maintain and organize driver and safety records. Monitor and follow up on required documentation. Assist with HOS and driver log monitoring. Help maintain DOT and safety compliance records. Assist with safety reports, inspections, and compliance documentation. Communicate with drivers regarding safety-related matters. Follow up on missing or pending safety documentation. Support the Safety Department with daily tasks and special projects. Maintain confidentiality when handling company and employee information. Requirements No previous safety experience required — training will be provided . Experience with
HOS, DOT
regulations, Safety, driver logs, or transportation is a plus. Bilingual in English and Spanish — required. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Methodical and detail-oriented approach to work. Responsible, reliable, and able to follow through on assigned tasks. Good communication and follow-up skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible availability according to the needs of the Safety Department.
