Job Description

Job description Rig Runner is a specialized trucking and logistics company. We are looking for an experienced Field Safety Representative for the Gardendale, TX location. The Field Safety Representative will be responsible for providing support to the Safety Manager and Terminal Manager as well as coordinate day-to-day safety procedures on the rig site/rig moves. This position will also assist in reporting incidents and accidents, may assist in getting medical help for injured employees, will conduct investigations of safety sensitive activities and coordinate and participate in safety meetings.
Responsibilities :
Assist in facilitating New Hire Orientation Training. Report incidents immediately to the Safety and HR departments and completes proper paperwork, (i.e. witness statements, employee reports of injury, etc.) Assist Safety Supervisors in verifying field-staff training and competencies; consult the Director of Safety and VP of Safety for compliance and action plan. Coordinate and participate in safety meetings with the safety team to review issues, trends and upcoming conditions or events. Must be a team player who promotes a clean and safe work environment. Perform other duties and special projects as required.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree preferred, HS Diploma/GED required Minimum 2 years experience in DOT Safety Minimum of 1-2 years of
RIG MOVE
experience Special preference given to applicants with rig move experience Knowledge of different types of field equipment (forklift, cranes, 4 axle flatbeds, etc.) Valid state driver's license and clean driving record Bilingual is a Plus The ability to demonstrate the application of risk assessment to company operations and activities.
