8am-8pm Monday-Friday QPS is seeking a Safety Coordinator for our client in Spring, TX. Safety Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain safety programs aligned with OSHA and
ISO 45001
standards
- Conduct routine safety inspections to identify and mitigate hazards
- Investigate accidents and incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Deliver employee safety training (PPE, emergency response, safe work practices)
- Maintain accurate documentation for incidents, inspections, and training records
- Partner with leadership and employees to promote continuous improvement in safety culture
- Stay current on regulations and industry best practices
- Interface with regulatory agencies and external safety vendors
- Supervise Safety Technician Requirements for
Safety Coordinator:
- At least two years of safety coordination experience
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance
- Certifications preferred: CSP or CHCM
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
