We're exploring adding annual fire / life-safety inspection & servicing as an attach for those clients — starting with portable fire extinguishers (kitchen hoods possible later). This is not a janitorial role. We're looking for a contractor / partner who already works in the Utah fire-protection trades and can help us do this the right way. What you'll do Advise on Utah State Fire Marshal company (concern) licensure and insurance requirements so we stand this up cleanly Perform or oversee extinguisher inspection/servicing for Kiwi-introduced accounts (tagged work under a properly licensed concern) Help us choose scope: extinguishers first vs hoods vs both Optional longer path: preferred vendor, JV, or small bolt-on if it's a fit Required Active Utah State Fire Marshal Certificate of Registration for portable fire extinguisher servicing (or kitchen exhaust / KES if that's your lane — say which in your application) Real experience working under a Utah SFM- licensed concern (not "I have ICC Fire Inspector only") Comfortable explaining concern-license steps, tags, and AHJ reporting Own liability insurance / ability to name Kiwi as additional insured Based on Wasatch Front (Utah / Salt Lake / Davis / Weber) Nice to have Already own or can be principal on a Utah SFM concern license Van, tools, tags inventory Kitchen exhaust (NFPA 96) or fire alarm certs as secondary Interest in a long-term partner or acquisition conversation Not a fit if You only hold ICC / municipal fire-inspector credentials with no SFM extinguisher/KES/alarm certs You expect to "just hang a cert under our cleaning company" with no concern license How to apply Reply with: (1) which Utah SFM certs you hold, (2) whether you already have a concern license, (3) one paragraph on how you'd stand this up with us, (4) rate structure (per unit / per site / monthly retainer).
