The Safety Watcher will be responsible for monitoring work areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel. This role requires attentiveness, quick response to potential hazards, and adherence to safety procedures. The ideal candidate must be authorized to work in the specified location and prepared to receive payment via W-2. Additionally, candidates should be ready to prepare and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed throughout their shift. Duties Continuously monitor designated work areas to identify potential safety hazards or unsafe behaviors Enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with company and regulatory standards Maintain constant vigilance during operations to prevent accidents or incidents Prepare and ensure proper use of PPE for themselves and other personnel as required Document any safety concerns or incidents and report them promptly to supervisory staff Assist in safety drills or inspections as directed Stay informed about current safety protocols and best practices relevant to the work environment Be available during scheduled shifts to respond immediately to emergencies or unsafe conditions Skills Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail Excellent communication abilities for reporting hazards and coordinating with team members Ability to remain alert and focused over extended periods of time Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE requirements relevant to the specific work site Authorized to work in the designated location and capable of receiving payment through W-2 employment status Preparedness to handle safety equipment and perform necessary PPE preparations Dependability, responsibility, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe work environment
