• 100,000 + bonus Immediate Need The Opportunity HCCA is hiring a Safety Trainer / Safety Ambassador to run its training program out of the Manassas office. The role covers classroom and online training
• OSHA 10/30, VDOT Work Zone, and related courses
• along with site visits and member events for the ambassador piece.

It's an individual contributor position, reporting to the Executive Director, based in-office five days a week. About the Firm HCCA (Heavy Construction Contractors Association) is a nonprofit trade association founded in 1957 and headquartered in Manassas, VA, representing roughly 200 heavy-civil member companies across transportation and utility infrastructure work. The organization trains more than 2,000 people a year. The team itself is small

• but it's been running this program for decades, with a reach across the entire membership.

What You'll Be Doing Deliver

OSHA 10, OSHA

30, and VDOT Work Zone training (Work Zone Intermediate is the most requested course) in the classroom, online, and at member job sites Build and update curriculum, and write weekly Safety Tips and Toolbox Talks Act as a safety ambassador

• walk job sites, show up at member events, and stay visible in the field Track new safety legislation (like heat-illness rules) and help members stay compliant Promote the training program to members and non-members to grow enrollment What We're Looking For Experience training adult learners in a classroom setting, in-person or online
• field-based crew training counts OSHA 500/510, or the ability to teach

OSHA 10/30

• VDOT Work Zone certification can be earned after hire Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, not required Bachelor's degree a plus, not required Compensation & Benefits $90,000
