Job Description
## Standard Job Description The Security Organization of Lockheed Martin Deposition Sciences, Inc. (DSI) is soliciting exceptionally qualified candidates to manage the safety and security of classified programs at DSI. The professional that is hired is committed to helping safeguard our workplace and to ensure compliance with U.S. government and other customer security requirements in support of U.S. national security interests. The chosen candidate for this position will perform as the Security Representative Staff supporting multiple Special Access Programs (SAPs) within DSI located in Santa Rosa, California, serve as a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO), and work with Facilities to maintain the physical security of the DSI site. They will implement cost effective and value-added security solutions that fortify our nation's emerging technologies.
The ideal candidate will:
- Lead the DSI Security effort and develop, administer, and audit security programs associated with the protection of classified and proprietary information in compliance with DoD and corporate policies while maintaining inspection readiness.
- Work closely with customers to tailor security requirements as required.
- Provide support and security oversight in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and contract.
- Develop security education materials and conduct briefings and classes. Investigate security incidents and prepare reports including incident recommendations and corrective actions to be taken.
- Apply business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicate observations and recommendations to leadership.
- Process company and customer visits and provide support for classified meetings.
- Develop security based solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
- Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives and LM corporate SOPs and requirements.
- Act as primary contact for Alarm monitoring companies.
- Ship Classified and Unclassified materials for programs.
- Possess an Active Secret security clearance (investigation current within the last 6 years) and be able to maintain SAP access. ## Basic Qualifications
- Experience with/understanding of Industrial/Program Security regulations and procedures
- Knowledge of perimeter security, intrusion detection systems, access control hardware/software, and badge/credential management
- Experience conducting site surveys, security assessments, and vulnerability analyses in accordance with SAP standards
- Experience administering provisions of Federal Regulations
- Active Secret Clearance ## Desired Skills
- History of building and maintaining strong relationships with government customers and industry partners
- Possess an Active Top Secret security clearance (investigation current within the last 6 years) and be able to maintain SAP access
- Experience with Personnel records management and Program Access Request submission process
- Direct experience preparing, reviewing, and maintaining ICD 705-required paperwork for SAPFs (e.g. Fixed Facility Checklists, Accreditation Letters, TEMPEST Checklists, Facility Security Plans, Access Control Records, Incident Reports, SAP‐Specific Forms)
- Experience administering provisions of the 32 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 117 NISPOM and DoD 5205.07 Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manual
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Self-driven and results-oriented, capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and customer interface skills
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
$100200.00- $186200.
