Duties Help Provides oversight, guidance, and assistance for security programs supporting the T Family of bureaus and offices. Administers, evalues, and monitors security programs involving the protection, control, handling, storage, transmission, destruction, and safeguarding of classified and sensitive informion. Provides operional oversight and guidance to T Family Special Security Representives (SSRs) and Unit Security Officers (USOs) and monitors implemention of security requirements throughout supported organizions. Oversees the T Family Security Incident Program (SIP) and serves as the principal advisor on security incidents involving classified or sensitive informion. Analyzes, develops, implements, & evalues security policies, procedures, instructions, internal controls, & program requirements governing the protection of classified informion, personnel, facilities, & other sensitive informion for T family. Time-In-Grade Requirements:
Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks the next lower grade to sisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F. Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstre the following: Experience conducting training focused on procedural and instructional support of Unit Security Officers (USOs) in compliance with organizional security program; Experience overseeing and implementing physical security program to comply with security standards and sensitive informion protocols; and Experience leading least a security program activity (informion/personnel/physical security) and providing advisory services to high-level leadership for the implemention of internal security controls across Bureaus. There is no substitute of educion for specialized experience for the GS-14 position. Educion Educion requirements do not apply to this vacancy announcement.
